  Pixel Boxes are fully compatible with the Gridfinity storage system, a creation of the awesome 3D printing community! Each box perfectly fits a 2×2 Gridfinity grid, making them modular and expandable.   Our Pixel Boxes are primarily made from a combination of materials chosen for their durability and eco-friendliness. We use PLA+ filament for larger parts like the box itself, as it’s a strong and biodegradable plastic. For smaller details like eyes, we use Eco resin, which allows for finer details and a glossy finish. To ensure the best possible quality and longevity, we also paint, sand, and add a protective coating to most Pixel Boxes.

  As someone with dyslexia, I developed this system along with my love for character design to fill a gap. Our visual system makes labels unnecessary. You don’t need to read to find what you’re looking for. Pixel Boxes are organized and easily recognizable, with optional name badges for those who want them.

  They look cute, are fun little characters, and are essentially toys to store things in, potentially making clean-up part of the fun. They also fit in with pixel trends popular with kids (of all ages!), like Minecraft. However, please note that Pixel Boxes can contain small parts and require assembly and glue, which may not be suitable for younger children. We’re experimenting with kid-friendly one-piece designs, and some digital downloads include them. As with any product, we ask parents or guardians to use their discretion and read the safety disclaimer.
