  A: Of course there’s always a twist in the end. The customization doesn’t stop at character selection. We’ve also introduced a thrilling “coup” mechanic to shake up the game. Facing an inevitable checkmate? Overthrow the monarchy and turn the tides of battle! Sacrifice your king’s crown, bestow it upon a lowly pawn, and watch as they rise to become the new ruler. This daring move could be the key to a miraculous comeback!

  A: The models are in STL format, compatible with most 3D printing software and slicers.

  A: Primarily designed for resin 3D printing, but you can experiment with FDM printing, potentially with some scaling adjustments.

  A: Not at all! In fact, we use a 3D printer that costs less than $150 to print our own sets. Our models are designed to look great on any resin printer, as they have a more stylized, cartoony, minimalist aesthetic rather than intricate details. However, please prioritize safety when choosing and using a resin printer.

  A: Yes, these models require supports for optimal printing. However, we’ve included both unsupported and pre-supported files, giving you the flexibility to either use our recommended supports or add your own using your preferred slicer.

  A: Yes! The files include a version with slots for magnets, and we provide links to recommended magnet suppliers.
• Q: What kind of resin do you recommend?
  A: We recommend a combination of white resin (link), black resin (link), or transparent resin (link) for the base colors of the pieces. We also offer a self-produced version with color-speckled details. If you’d like to achieve a similar effect, consider using green for rooks, yellow for knights, orange for queens, red for kings, and purple for pawns.
• Q: What can I do with these files?
  A: These files are primarily intended for personal use, so 3D print them for yourself. You can also give them as a gift to a friend or family member and/or ask them to print them, or even use a third-party service. Remixing is allowed to a certain extent, as long as you provide attribution and ensure the work is sufficiently different. We’re not bad guys. Actually just a very small studio wanting to grow. We understand the 3D printing community values openness and open-source, but we also believe artists should be paid for their work and protect themselves.
